Overview: At Stepping Stones Montessori, we only choose fundraisers that are consistent with our school values. We particularly value those fundraisers that include the participation of the children for direct experiences with real-world learning environments, as well as fundraising events that build our community. As a non-profit institution, we rely on fundraising to some degree for financial support. Fundraising each year will be used for our school’s growth and improvement for obtaining valuable ‘extras’ for our children.  Overall, we strive to make our program as affordable as possible as well as minimizing the total number of fundraisers we hold.

The Bagel Sale
Once a month, the Upper Elementary students from the Elementary Casa host a morning bagel sale. The students manage all the details including maintaining inventory and keeping the books. All of the elementary students decide how the funds will be used.

Friends of Montessori Auction - March 23, 2013 – Evening
You don’t want to miss this parent only (childcare provided) event! This is our major fundraiser of the year.

Spaghetti Dinner
A Stepping Stones tradition for the whole family to enjoy delicious home-made spaghetti sauce, child-prepared bread and placemats, home-made bake-sale items, and an annual performance of “On Top of Spaghetti“.
